We live in the era of the Internet and we are so fortunate to have it in our lives.
2020 was a year where I spent most of my time on the Internet. I learned so many new things, updated my previous skills, and most importantly, so many career opportunities opened up for me.
As a marketing student, one of the main concerns I had before starting my studies was “Will I get to make a career out of what I am learning right now?”. The answer only became clear during summertime, where I found myself in the comfort of my own home without the stress of having to commute to school or working a 9 to 5 job.
The pandemic is scary, but delightful in its own way if you have the necessary resources. Would I have landed an internship with a huge American company without it? The position I hold right now? Would I have started my own podcast, a thing I thought I would never be able to do? The answer to all of these is no.
What is up for me next? Nobody knows.
Today I am celebrating my presence on the World Wide Web, and so should you! Even if your presence is small, every post matters, every comment or like matters, all for the sake of creating a better community enriched with the power of information.
What is your Internet journey?
